Російські ЗМІ також певним чином відповідальні за ситуацію, що склалася на сході України.

Таку думку висловив генеральний секретар міжнародної неурядової організації (НУО) «Репортери без кордонів» Крістоф Делуар на конференції «Україна. Які перспективи для демократії?» у Сенаті Франції, повідомляє Укрінформ.

«Російські медіа використовуються як зброя, російські ЗМІ винні певною мірою у тому, що коїться на сході України», - зазначив керівник НУО.

Він також наголосив, що ситуація зі свободою слова в Україні краща, ніж у Криму, Луганську та Донецьку, де «зовсім немає плюралізму думок». Утім, Україні потрібна реформа законодавства у частині діяльності ЗМІ. Зокрема, Україна потребує реформи місцевих ЗМІ, оскільки існує проблема їх незалежності.

Нагадаємо, на початку року в рейтингу «Репортерів без кордонів» Україна за рівнем свободи преси в 2014 році опустилася на два пункти - до 129-го місця.
