Американська компанія Uber і китайська Momentum стають партнерами, щоб запустити робототаксі на різних світових ринках — почнуть у Європі з 2026 року.Про це пише Bloomberg.

Спочатку компанії запровадять операторів безпеки в автомобілі. Momenta зараз використовує автономні безпілотні системи на дорогах Китаю, але разом з Uber вони вийдуть за межі ринків США і КНР.

Це вже друге партнерство Uber у сфері автономних машин, оголошене за тиждень. Вона також співпрацюватиме з May Mobility, щоб розгорнути «тисячі» таких автомобілів протягом наступних кількох років.

Американський конкурент Uber — компанія Lyft — співпрацює з May Mobility і планує вже цього літа запустити в Атланті перші робототаксі з водієм-наглядачем.

Тим часом Uber уже уклав понад десяток угод з різними міжнародними партнерами, щоб впроваджувати самокеровані технології у свої сервіси з перевезень, доставки та вантажоперевезень. Попит на це зростає. Наприклад, Tesla готує запуск своїх робототаксі з водіями в Остіні, а компанія Waymo, яка є дочірньої структури Alphabet, активно розширює автопарки у великих містах.
