Міжнародну асоціацію легкоатлетичних федерацій (IAAF) атакували хакери групи Fancy Bears. Про це повідомляють в IAAF.

Спробу несанкціонованого віддаленого підключення до серверів IAAF, які містять інформацію про використання спортсменами терапевтичних винятків, була зафіксована 21 лютого.

Минулого місяця ІААФ консультувалася з британським Національним центром кібербезпеки (НККК) і Agence Monegasque de Sécurité Numérique (Monaco AMSN) щодо комплексної реабілітації у всіх системах і серверах, щоб завадити доступ нападникам до мережі. Це було здійснено і завершено протягом уїк-енду.

"Наш пріоритет - безпека і конфіденційність інформації про спортсменів, які надали її ІААФ. Ми вибачилися перед ними і наш спільний обов'язок продовжувати робити все, що в наших силах, щоб виправити ситуацію і працювати з найкращими організаціями світу, щоб створити безпечне середовище", - каже президент IAAF Себастьян Коу.

Додамо, Fancy Bears пов'язують з російськими спецслужбами.
