Російські хакери намагалися зламати смартфони військових, які перебували на базах НАТО в Польщі і Прибалтиці. Про це пише Кореспондент із посиланням на The Wall Street Journal.

Як зазначає видання, про те, що замішані саме російські хакери, вказує IP-адреса, з якої намагалися зламати смартфон.
 
Встановлено також, що для атак використовувалися дрони, оснащені технікою для спостереження. На думку експертів, таке обладнання є лише у державних структур.
 
Крім того, на військовій базі в Польщі у семи осіб, крім телефонів, намагалися зламати й акаунти у Facebook.
 
Через збільшення кількості випадків злому військових зобов'язали вийняти SIM-карти з телефонів, а інтернетом дозволили користуватися тільки через безпечні з'єднання в частині. Використання геолокації також заборонено.
 
Видання з'ясувало, що інформація, отримана зі смартфонів військових, могла використовуватися зловмисниками для їхнього залякування. При цьому вони побоюються, що зламані смартфони можуть відправляти помилкові команди в разі початку бойових дій.
