Через страх покарання російські ЗМІ відмовилися публікувати статтю посла Європейського Союзу у Москві Вігаудаса Ушацкаса, в якій вживається термін "незаконна анексія Криму".

Дипломат розповів, що отримав від редакції одного великого ЗМІ відповідь, що у разі публікації такого тексту щодо цього ЗМІ може бути порушено кримінальну справу за заперечення територіальної цілісності Росії.

За словами Ушацкаса, редакція запропонувала використовувати щодо Криму інші формулювання, але він категорично відмовився.

"Це ще одне свідчення того, як сильно обмежується свобода думок і ЗМІ в Росії", - сказав він.

Назвати конкретну редакцію він відмовився.
