Це спільний проект російського "Першого каналу" і China Central Television (CCTV) з мовленням російською мовою з китайськими субтитрами, повідомляє Еспресо.ТВ
Канал показуватиме програми про науку, культуру, історію, а також концерти російських виконавців.
"Катюша" стала першим іноземним телеканалом, який отримав ліцензію на мовлення саме на китайську аудиторію.
У Китаї заборонено мовлення зарубіжних каналів на китайській мові для китайської аудиторії. Іноземці можуть віщати тільки на своїх мовах, а їх канали транслюються в основному в готелях, тобто розраховані на туристів.
Разом з тим, у Росії вже працює канал центрального телебачення Китаю російською мовою - "CCTV-Русский".
