Російська компанія Яндекс об'єднає сервіс онлайн-замовлення таксі Яндекс.Таксі з бізнесом Uber в Росії, Казахстані, Азербайджані, Вірменії, Білорусі та Грузії.

Бізнес буде об'єднаний в компанію NewCo. Для замовлення поїздок і раніше будуть доступні обидва додатки.

Очолить компанію генеральний директор Яндекс.Таксі Тигран Худавердян. Сторони домовилися, що Uber і Яндекс інвестують відповідно 225 млн доларів і 100 млн доларів в нову компанію, оцінюючи її в 3,725 млрд доларів.

З урахуванням цих вкладень і можливих коригувань на момент закриття угоди 59,3% компанії належатимуть Яндексу, 36,6% - Uber, а 4,1% - співробітникам, випливає зі спільного прес-релізу.

Нова компанія буде використовувати технології і знання Яндекса в області картографічного і навігаційного сервісів і пошукових систем і досвід Uber як світового лідера серед онлайн-сервісів для замовлення поїздок.

Гендиректор Яндекс.Таксі Тигран Худавердян, коментуючи це рішення, пояснив, що компанії хочуть разом будувати "персональний громадський транспорт" - альтернативу особистому автомобілю, автобусам або метро.

За статистикою за минулий червень, об'єднана платформа охопить 127 міст в шести країнах, на обидва сервісу доводиться 35 млн поїздок на місяць, їх сумарна вартість становила 7,9 млрд руб (близько 132 мільйонів доларів).
