Роскомнадзор решил провести дополнительную проверку материала о планируемом несанкционированном массовом мероприятии в Новосибирске, который размещен на сайте русской службы Би-Би-Си , сообщает агентство РИА Новости. Поправки, внесенные в интервью общественного деятеля Артема Лоскутова редакцией, ведомство не удовлетворили.

«Дополнительная проверка проводится в связи с заявлениями руководства русской службы Би-Би-Си о внесенных в материал правках», ─ заявили агентству в Роскомнадзоре. По мнению представителей ведомства «говорить о возможных мерах в отношении интернет-ресурса русской службы Би-Би-Си преждевременно до окончания расследования».

По словам представителя Би-би-Си, редакция не планирует удалять интервью с сайта, поскольку слова Лоскутова отражают его личную позицию.

Роскомнадзор может заблокировать сайт русской службы Би-Би-Си из-за опубликованного 31 июля интервью Лоскутова, содержащего призывы провести незаконное массовое мероприятие в Новосибирске.

Исполняющий обязанности главы Русской службы Би-Би-Си Артем Лисс в блоге редактора на сайте компании написал, что Роскомнадзор прислал им уведомление об ограничении доступа к одной из страниц сайта (аудиозапись интервью с Лоскутовым) в России в соответствии с законодательством по борьбе с экстремизмом. В связи с этим, в редакции «решили изменить первоначальный текст, сопровождавший интервью, добавив справочную информацию об Артеме Лоскутове и его прежней деятельности».
