Російський регулятор Роскомнагляд викликав до себе представника американського телеканалу CNN для розгляду адміністративної справи про порушення закону «Про засоби масової інформації».
 

Про це повідомляється на сайті відомства, пише Media Sapiens. Втім, у прес-релізі регулятора не вказується, про які саме порушення йде мова. Це може бути порушення правил висвітлення виборів, поширення забороненої інформації, ненадання звітності про фінансування або порушення правил поширення інформації.

Порушення були виявлені під час перевірки ТОВ «Тернер інформаційні програми та стиль життя», яке транслює в Росії ефір CNN.

Нагадаємо, раніше цього року голова комітету російської Держдуми з інформаційної політики, інформаційних технологій і зв’язку Леонід Левін заявив, що американські медіа є частиною «масштабної системи тиску Вашингтона». Зокрема він назвав редакції Радіо Свобода, «Голос Америки» і CNN  «провідниками тиску США».

Раніше Держдума Росії також доручила комітету з інформаційної політики організувати перевірку діяльності російських служб Радіо Свобода, «Голосу Америки» та CNN на відповідність російському законодавству.
