Украинский журналист Богдан Кутепов, освещающий в Стокгольме "Евровидение 2016", в Facebook сообщил, что гримерку, которую занимала украинская певица Джамала, занял участник конкурса от России Сергей Лазарев.

"Россия оккупировала украинскую гримерку. И после этого они не оккупанты? Приходим на генеральную репетицию финала – а в комнате, закрепленной в течение многих дней за Джамалой, теперь Сергей Лазарев. И здесь, видишь, не удержались, чтобы наш кусочек немного не ущипнуть", – пошутил он.

Песня "1944", с которой Джамала поехала на "Евровидение", посвящена депортации крымских татар в 1944 году и основана на рассказах прабабушки певицы, которая пережила депортацию. По словам Джамалы, об этой трагедии все забыли, и она решила создать песню, которая поможет почтить память тысяч погибших. По последним оценкам букмекеров, певица должна войти в тройку призеров "Евровидения" в этом году. Российский участник Сергей Лазарев также является одним из фаворитов конкурса.
