Работу, по меньшей мере, 12 электростанций пытались нарушить в США неизвестные хакеры, передает со ссылкой на информированные источники Bloomberg.

При этом, среди них оказался и ядерный объект The Wolf Greek в Канзасе, передает Новое время

По словам специалистов, киберпреступники пытались найти слабые места в американской электросети, чтобы в итоге разрушить энергоснабжение США.

Как отмечается, главным подозреваемым в совершении этих атак является Россия, чьи хакеры ранее уже совершали аналогичные атаки в Украине.

Согласно мнению американских властей, здесь злоумышленники, вероятно, тестировали новые цифровые инструменты для отключения источников питания.

Напомним, ранее сообщалось, что в декабре 2015 года против украинских компаний – поставщиков электроэнергии был совершен ряд кибератак, которые были направлены на выведение предприятий из строя.

Прикарпатьеоблэнерго была единственной компанией, которая заявила о сбоях в работе, однако подобные вредоносные программы были обнаружены в сетях еще как минимум двух других предприятий.
