Российские хакеры использовали Twitter и фотографии, чтобы подобраться и проникнуть в компьютеры правительства США в этом году, сообщает Reuters, ссылаясь на доклад компании по кибербезопасности FireEye Inc, пишет Zn.ua

"Это поразительно, как много слоев запутывания использует эта группа (хакеров)", - рассказала менеджер исследовательской компании Дженнифер Уидон.

"Эти группы становятся более творческими", - добавила она.

Компьютеры получили алгоритм для проверки разных учетных записей в Twitter каждый день. Если человек, зарегистрированный в сети, написал определенное сообщение, инструкция по серии действий компьютера будет активирована.

Старший менеджер Symantec Corp (SYMC.O) Викрам Тхакур также рассказал, что его команда обнаружила такую же технологию - стенографию, которая позволяла с помощью Twitter и скрытых данных на фотографиях вести потом хакерскую атаку.
