КПРФ намерена использовать образ генсека ЦК КПСС Иосифа Сталина в предвыборной агитации на выборах в Госдуму. Об этом сообщил "Коммерсанту" секретарь ЦК КПРФ по информационно-аналитической работе и избирательным технологиям Сергей Обухов.

Партия рассчитывает, что это поможет партии привлечь дополнительные голоса за пределами ее ядерного электората.

Издание отмечает, что в регионах коммунисты уже начали предвыборную подготовку – так, бюсты Сталина уже устанавливают активисты КПРФ в Пензе и Архангельске, причем пензенское отделение потребовало от центрального аппарата отменить результаты ХХ съезда КПСС, на котором секретарь партии Никита Хрущев выступил с докладом "О культе личности и его последствиях".

В России с апреля действует закон, запрещающий в предвыборной агитации использовать образы людей, не являющихся кандидатами от партии. Не нарушает ли использование образа Сталина этот закон, в партии не уточняют.

КПРФ регулярно использует образ Сталина, в частности к 9 мая. Периодически плакаты разрисовывают, в аннексированном Крыму на мемориальной доске советского лидера написали слово "палач".

В последние годы в России появились десятки памятников Сталину. Так, в феврале в Псковской области был установлен бюст Сталина при "полной финансовой поддержке" Российского военно-исторического общества, а в прошлом году в Пензе открыли "Сталинский центр", который займется изучением опыта построения социализма в СССР.
