В интернете российские СМИ распространили информацию о смерти королевы Великобритании Елизаветы II. Все они ссылались на запись, которая якобы была на официальном сайте королевской семьи Великобритании. Об этом сообщают Украинские новости со ссилкой на британское издание Еxpress.

Английские издания эту информацию не распространяли, а представители королевской семьи не прокомментировали якобы "настоящий" пост.

"Королева Елизавета II умерла во сне утром в своей резиденции в Сандрингемском дворце", – сообщалось в скриншоте, который появился в русскоязычных изданиях.

Также они пишут, что "после удаления заявления принца Чарльза и официальные комментарии по поводу инцидента не последовали". 

Слухи о смерти монарха начались с информации, которую в своем микроблоге в Twitter опубликовал пользователь с ником @ecclesmanutd. "Только что услышал, что британские медиа намеренно перестали освещать одну важную информацию. Это правда", — написал мужчина, поставив хэштег #mediablackout, под которым впоследствии начала распространяться информация о смерти королевы.

Журналисты ВBC связались с автором поста, который объяснил, что не имеет официальных подтверждений опубликованой им информации и просто распространил сообщение, прочитанное на Facebook его женой.

Однако судя по последним записям на странице официального представительства Королевы, можно предположить, что публикация о ее смерти неправдива. 

Также сообщение о смерти Елизаветы ІІ появилось на сайте, специализирующемся на создании неправдивых новостей.
