Российских олигарх и владелец английского футбольного клуба Челси Роман Абрамович столкнулся с задержкой в продлении британской визы, сообщает ВВС со ссылкой на источники.

Отмечается, что россиянин запросил продления своей британской визы, но до сих пор не получил никакого ответа.

Известно, что Абрамович отсутствовал на финальном матче Кубка Англии, в ходе которого принадлежащий ему клуб Челси обыграл Манчестер Юнайтед со счетом 1:0.

Отвечая на вопрос о продлении визы Абрамовича, министр безопасности Британии Бен Уоллес сказал: "Обычно мы не комментируем отдельные случаи".

Официальный представитель бизнесмена Джон Манн отказался от комментариев.

Отмечается, что виза инвестора Абрамовича истекла три недели назад.

Роман Абрамович занимает 13-е место в списке самых богатых жителей Великобритании по версии Sunday Times. Издание оценило его состояние в 9,3 миллиардов фунтов стерлингов (12,6 миллиардов долларов).
