Заслуженный артист РФ, поэт и композитор Вячеслав Малежик вместе с московскими музыкантами Анатолием Алешиным, Алексеем Пузыревым, Алесандром Чиненковым и Александром Зарецким записали антивоенную песню "День без выстрела на Земле" на украинском и русском языках. С переводом на украинский коллективу помогли киевские друзья.

"Я наполовину украинец, наполовину – русский, – рассказал в комментарии изданию "ГОРДОН" Малежик. – Именно потому обе противоборствующие стороны мне одинаково дороги, Моя жена Таня родом из Донецка, часть родни живет в Украине. Бесконечно больно видеть то, что происходит последнее время, я постоянно пытаюсь встать над ситуацией. Песня – это призыв к миру, обращенный и к русскоязычным, и украиноязычным, ко всем, кто сейчас сражается. Посыл простой: я очень хочу, чтобы мы остановились и хоть на секундочку подумали, зачем и ради чего убиваем друг друга. Надо восстанавливать отношения, лучше поздно чем никогда. Драться до полного уничтожения нельзя. Мне кажется, антивоенной песней я могу сделать гораздо больше, чем влезая в какие-то ток-шоу и раздавая интервью. У меня нет другого способа, только музыка".

Песня "День без выстрела на Земле" была написана в 1972 году выдающимся советским композитором Давидом Тухмановым и поэтом Михаилом Дудиным.
