Нардеп від "Батьківщини" Надія Савченко вважає, що мусить стати президентом України.

Про це вона заявила в інтерв’ю "Німецькій хвилі".

На запитання про президентські амбіції Савченко відповіла, що вважає такий розвиток подій радше необхідністю.

"Я відповідала, що не хочу, але я відповідала, що можу. А тепер я, напевно, відповім, що, швидше за все, вже мушу", - сказала вона.

При цьому Савченко переконана, що політичну систему в Україні можна змінити лише зверху і не виключила необхідності періоду диктатури.

"Щоб змінити повноваження президента, структуру країни, закони перезапустити, щоб вони діяли для людей, побороти корупцію - треба стати таким диктатором, який має все в своїх руках. Для того, щоб повернути цю владу народу і зробити так, щоб більше ніколи владу в народу не забрали", - зазначила Савченко.
