Сайти ВВС "поклали" хакери – борці з ісламізмом

Хакери заявили, що атака стала перевіркою їх можливостей. Але вони не планували виводити сайти з ладу на кілька годин, повідомляє ВВС.

 

Сама група займається тим, що відстежує в мережі активність, пов'язану з ерористичним угрупуванням "Ісламська держава", і намагається ліквідувати сайти, асоційовані з нею. Сама група New World Hacking базується в США.

Прес-служба ВВС заявила, що не буде коментувати заяву хакерів.

Перед Новим роком сайти ВВС, а також сервіс Iplayer протягом декількох годин були недоступні для користувачів.

Причиною стала DDOS-атака - це мережева атака, при якій сайт виводиться з ладу через велику кількість "сміттєвих" запитів. У результаті такої атаки сервери, обслуговуючі сайт, повинні обробляти надмірний обсяг запитів, і сайт стає недоступним для користувачів.
