Командир батальона "Донбасс" в своем интервью заявил, что увлеченность страны выборами в ситуации, когда российские войска могут в любой момент начать наступление – очень серьезная ошибка,пишет  "Обозреватель"

"Русские войска сейчас стоят в полной боеготовности в Крыму и в Донецкой области, вдоль границ, - говорит Семенченко. - Путин будет брать столько, сколько мы отдадим. К сожалению, у нас внутренняя политика очень подвержена внешнему влиянию, в том числе и иностранных спецслужб. Многие во власти считают себя космополитами, но у нас нет и не будет другой страны".

Также Семен Семенченко прокомментировал участие бойцов батальона "Донбасс" в досрочных парламентских выборах:

"Сегодня мы являемся субъектом политики независимо от своего желания. У нас есть политические требования, и есть доверие людей – этого достаточно. Наши требования: Донбасс должен остаться в составе Украины, Украина должна быть независимой и стать сильным справедливым государством. Но мы сейчас добиваемся этого с автоматами в руках".

По его словам, сам комбат "Донбасса" пока не определился, хочет ли стать народным депутатом. "Если вдруг я решу, что мне нужен будет статус и возможности депутата, я первым делом сообщу об этом своим нанимателям – народу Украины, тем людям, которые обувают-одевают, кормят солдат, которые верят в нас, - заявил Семенченко в интервью Андрею Дихтяренко. - И скажу тогда, с кем". Семен Семенченко признался, что хотел бы пойти на выборы "с волонтерами и теми кто воюет".
