Амкериканский сенатор-демократ Крис Мерфи призвал немедленно освободить Надежду Савченко.

"Эта пародия на справедливость говорит больше о печальном состоянии судебной системы России, чем о действиях этой мужественной молодой женщины. Слушания были политизированными с самого начала, и игнорировались доказательства, свидетельствующие о том, что Савченко был в нескольких милях от места, где ее обвинили в убийстве российских журналистов. Я высоко ценю отвагу и решительность лейтенанта Савченко, и призываю российские власти незамедлительно освободить Надежду и закончить свою агрессию на востоке Украины", - заявил Мерфи.
