 Зараз YouTube Red працює тільки в п'яти країнах: США, Австралії, Новій Зеландії, Мексиці та Південній Кореї. Вартість передплати становить $ 9,99 на місяць

Цей сервіс примітний тим, що в ньому немає реклами, а також доступний преміум-контент, який можуть подивитися лише ті користувачі, які купили підписку. YouTube Red був запущений в жовтні 2015 року. Певний час його позиціонували як музичний сервіс, в якому можна без перерв на рекламу слухати пісні. В минулому році YouTube навіть дозволив власникам підписки зберігати треки й слухати їх в онлайні.

Сьюзан Войчицькі наголосила, що музика залишається важливою складовою YouTube Red. Директорка не розповіла про те, коли розпочнеться розширення сервісу й в яких саме країнах.
