Національний радіомарафон «Борітеся - поборете! Шевченко мобілізує» з нагоди 201-ї річниці від дня народження Кобзаря стартував у ефірі каналу радіо «Культура» Національної радіокомпанії України.

Упродовж 18 годин поезію Тараса Шевченка у прямому ефірі читатимуть командири та бійці українського війська, члени добровольчих батальйонів, які беруть участь в АТО. До участі в заході долучаться керівники Української держави, урядовці, політики, діячі науки, культури, волонтери, представники громадськості,передає "Укрінформ".

Вестимуть марафон 18 ведучих. Окрім журналістів Українського радіо у прямому ефірі працюватимуть відомі діячі культури Галина Дацюк, Тетяна Литвинова, Ольга Галаненко, Галина Бабій, Роман Романюк, Анатолій Гнатюк, Василь Шандро, Сергій Гальченко, екс-міністр культури Євген Нищук та інші публічні особи.

Щогодини у програмі радіомарафону транслюватимуться архівні записи читання творів Шевченка видатними українцями, а також звучатимуть пісні на слова Кобзаря як у класичному виконанні хору ім. Ревуцького і капели «Думка», так і у виконанні рок-гурту «Кому вниз» та інших музикантів.

Окрім того, ведучі радіомарафону розповідатимуть про цікаві факти з життя поета.

Ініціаторами проведення заходу стали Міністерство культури України та Держкомітет телебачення і радіомовлення України.
