ФБР переглянуло свою політику спілкування з представниками ЗМІ, обмеживши контакти працівників з журналістами, передає CNN з посиланням на представників Бюро.

Обмеження було введено у ході розслідування витоків інформації від чиновників щодо контактів між сподвижниками президента Дональда Трампа з російськими розвідниками.

Співрозмовник телеканалу охарактеризував відповідні заходи як "роз'яснення", спрямовані на уточнення існуючих правил про те, хто уповноважений розмовляти з журналістами.

Нагадаємо, в кінці 2016 року американська розвідка дійшла висновків про те, що хакерські атаки з боку Росії на офіційні установи в США під час президентської кампанії були спрямовані безпосередньо на підтримку Трампа, а не на дискредитацію самого процесу демократичних голосувань.

У січні 2017 року розвідка США виклала в публічний доступ незасекреченную версію доповіді про "втручання Росії у вибори". Згідно з документом, президент Путін розпорядився здійснити хакерські атаки з метою вплинути на президентські вибори в США.

20 квітня 2017-го агентство Reuters повідомило про плани втручання у виборчий процес в США, розроблених аналітиками РІСД, який очолюють колишні співробітники розвідки призначені президентом РФ Володимиром Путіним.

Російська сторона відповіла, що зазначене відомство не уповноважено здійснювати інформаційні операції по втручанню у виборчих процес інших країн.
