За інформацією Dennikn.sk, процес розірвання контракту розпочато після критики громадськості, коли стало відомо про підписання угоди про співпрацю із російським агентством Sputnik, яке розповсюджує прокремлівську пропаганду.

В прес-службі агентства повідомили, що для того, щоб зняти всі сумніви, було розпочато процес розірвання угоди.

Повідомляється, що міністр культури Марек Мадяріч попросив голову правління агентства TASR звернути увагу на це питання.

Пізніше голова правління повідомив, що генеральний директор словацького агентства TASR розриває договір з агентством Sputnik.

За інформацією видання, міністр культури Словаччини назвав це правильним рішенням.

Раніше повідомлялося, що одне із найбільших інформаційних агентств Словаччини TASR підписало угоду про співпрацю з російським інформаційним агентством Sputnik.
