Кандидат в президенти Росії Ксенія Собчак пояснила, що підтримує санкції проти президента РФ Володимира Путіна і його оточення, а не антиросійські.

Про це вона повідомила в соціальній мережі Instagram, коментуючи висновки російських ЗМІ з її інтерв'ю CNN, передають Українські новини

"Спеціально для тих, хто погано розуміють англійську, ми зробили російські субтитри. Звертаючись до американської аудиторії, я сказала дослівно таке: "Майте на увазі, що Путін - не Росія. Росія велика, і багато хто не підтримує його політику. Одна справа, коли караються олігархи з оточення Путіна. І ці санкції - правильна річ, я їх підтримую. Зовсім інша - коли, наприклад, студенти не можуть отримати американську візу. І взагалі чому прості росіяни повинні відповідати за дії людини, яку вони не підтримують і яка не дозволяє чесним виборам відбутися?" Я готова ще і ще раз повторити це в будь-якому місці", - написала Собчак.

Також вона заявила, що категорично проти колективної відповідальності.

"Я проти колективної провини. Вина лежить не на російському народу, а на маленькій групі осіб. Їм і відповідати!", - заявила Собчак.
