За пять лет своего существования социальная сеть Instagram нарастила аудиторию до 400 миллионов человек по всему миру, сообщает компания на своем сайте.

Последние 100 миллионов человек зарегестрировались в сети всего за 9 месяцев, пишет Сегодня.

В настоящее время более 75% пользователей приложения проживают за пределами США

Ежедневно пользователи загружают около 80 миллионов изображений. Всего в соцсеть пользователи загрузили более 40 млрд фотографий.

Instagram – бесплатное приложение для обмена фотографиями и видеозаписями с элементами социальной сети, которое было запущено около пяти лет назад. В апреле 2012 года Instagram был приобретен компанией Facebook приблизительно за $1 млрд денежными средствами и акциями.

В конце августа Facebook сообщала, что соцсетью за сутки воспользовались более 1 млрд человек, что является рекордом. Это означает, что примерно каждый седьмой житель планеты использовал Facebook.
