Скандал навколо сімейства Фійона виник після публікації виданням Le Canard інформації про "фіктивну роботу" дружини Фійона, яка принесла їй 680 тисяч євро протягом 15 років.

Раніше кандидат в президенти Франції Франсуа Фійон заявив, що зніме свою кандидатуру з виборів президента у разі, якщо стане фігурантом розслідування проти своєї дружини.
