За перші шість місяців 2015 року кількість запитів з боку спецслужб на видалення інформації і блокування облікових записів користувачів Twitter в порівнянні з попереднім півріччям збільшилась на 30%. При цьому кількість запитів на інформацію про користувачів і їх профілі збільшилася на 52%.
У звіті представлені дані з 37 країн. Спецслужби зверталися до Twitter з проханням розкрити інформацію про користувачів, блокувати акаунти або видалити протиправний з точки зору місцевого законодавства контент 4363 рази. У середньому Twitter задовольняв вимоги спецслужб у 58% випадків.
Істотне збільшення кількості заявок сталося за рахунок зростання частотності запитів зі США. Twitter задовольнив 80% прохань американських спецслужб. Із 2436 заяв 25 запитів стосувалися видалення твітів чи блокування аккаунтів - з них жоден не був задоволений.
