Продовження санкцій проти Росії, криза в Україні та січневі теракти в Парижі поставили під загрозу можливість мирного життя для більш ніж 800 мільйонів європейців.

Про це йдеться в листі спікера Держдуми Росії Сергія Наришкіна, адресованому парламентам європейських країн, Раді Європи, Європарламенту, а також Парламентській асамблеї ОБСЄ, пише Європейська правда

Лист закликає європейських парламентаріїв зупинити кризу.

Варто зауважити, що лист не є публічним. Його журналістам передали парламентарії.

"Ми не дозволимо спадкоємцям цієї злочинної ідеології (нацизм. -Ред.) посіяти розбрат і відчуження в сім'ї європейських народів. Такий поділ вже одного разу в нашій спільній історії призвів до смерті та страждань, зруйнованих доль, голоду і руїни", - цитує листа видання.

"Величезна відповідальність за майбутнє нашого континенту, покладена на членів парламенту, спонукає нас мобілізувати всі сили і засоби, щоб Європа і надалі залишалася континентом стабільності і процвітання", - пише спікер Держдуми.

"Ми закликаємо вас, пані та панове, усвідомити, на якій межі опинився світ",  - йдеться у висновку листа.

Як відзначає видання, лист наразі набув розголосу лише в шведській пресі, оскільки посольство РФ в Швеції надіслало його шведським політикам.
