Социальная сеть Instagram тестирует функцию скрытия лайков для проверки теории о повышении активности пользователей, сообщает CNBC.

Как рассказал изданию один из бывших сотрудников Instagram, внутреннее исследование показало, что пользователи все чаще удаляют посты, набравшие мало лайков.

Предполагается, что без счетчика лайков пользователи будут более активно создавать посты и меньше задумываться об их потенциальной популярности. Такая теория появилась у руководства компании Facebook, которой принадлежит Instagram.

Официально называлась другая причина, по которой в Instagram тестируют отказ от счетчика лайков, пишет издание. Глава Instagram Адам Моссери заявлял, что такая мера направлена на борьбу с кибербуллингом.
