Генеральний директор компанії Starbucks Говард Шульц пообіцяв надати роботу у своїй мережі кав'ярень 10 тисячам мігрантів в 75 п'яти країнах світу.

Це рішення стало відповіддю на указ президента США Дональда Трампа про тимчасову заборону на в'їзд в країну громадянам деяких країн.

У листі до співробітників Starbucks Шульц пообіцяв зробити все можливе, щоб підтримати постраждалих працівників.

За його словами, компанія сфокусується на прийомі на роботу людей, які працювали з американською армією в якості перекладачів та обслуговуючого персоналу.

Шульц також закликав клієнтів кав'ярень не приносити до закладу зброю і не заводити розмови про міжрасові стосунки.

Він додав, що в разі скасування закону про доступну медичну допомогу, більш відомого як Obamacare, співробітники Starbucks зможуть отримати медичне страхування через компанію.
