Міністр інформаційної політики Юрій Стець домовився з керівництвом європейського офісу Facebook щодо оперативного реагування на «бани» та антиукраїнські пости, а також щодо більш ретельних і виважених підходів до моніторингу українського сегменту FB.Про це міністр повідомив на власній сторінці у Фейсбук.
"Вчора зустрілися з директором з питань громадської політики Facebook у Скандинавії, Центральній і Східній Європі та Росії Томасом Крістенсеном та керівником напрямку громадської політики Facebookу Центральній та Східній Європі Габріеллою Чех. Ключовим питанням обговорили можливість відкриття офісу Facebook в Україні. Крім того:
1) підняв питання блокування акаунтів українських політиків, громадських діячів, експертів, а також звернув увагу на проблематику оцінки контенту в соціальній мережі.
2) представники Facebook підтвердили, що розпочинають з українською стороною діалог щодо більш ретельних і виважених підходів до моніторингу українського сегменту FB.
3) вони запевнили, що весь моніторинг та аналіз українського сегменту відбувається винятково в операційному офісі в Дубліні (Ірландія) на засадах аполітичності та дотримання стандартів соціальної мережі.", - проінформував Стець.
