Міністр інформаційної політики Юрій Стець, який подав у відставку, вважає, що замість нього цю посаду повинна зайняти його перша заступниця Еміне Джапарова.

Про це він заявив на прес-конференції в понеділок, пише Українська правда

"Я це вже проговорював з президентом та прем'єр-міністром. Очевидно, що це буде вирішувати коаліція, але я вважаю, що наступним міністром інформаційної політики має бути Еміна Джапарова", - зазначив Стець.

Міністр наголосив, що йде з посади виключно через стан здоров'я.

"Причина моєї відставки полягає лише в стані здоров'я, не шукайте ніяких підводних каменів. У мене прекрасні стосунки з президентом, прем'єром та урядом", - зазначив він. "Я сподіваюся, що парламент впродовж цього або наступного пленарного тижня проголосує мою відставку", - додав Стець.

Як стало відомо 31 травня, міністр інформаційної політики Юрій Стець написав заяву про відставку з посади за станом здоров’я.

На час перебування в лікарні міністр поклав функції виконуючого обов'язки голови відомства на свого першого заступника Еміне Джапарову.

У понеділок, 19 червня, спікер Верховної Ради Андрій Парубій заявив, що на даний момент відсутнє рішення профільного комітету щодо заяви про відставку Стеця.
