Міністр інформації шокований тим, що Верховна Рада не спромоглася заборонити перевірки ЗМІ на час виборів.

Про це він сказав під час засідання Кабінету міністрів, повідомляє Українська правда

"Я шокований ситуацією, яка відбулася в парламенті", - сказав він.

Міністр нагадав, що парламент не зміг проголосувати за введення мораторію на перевірки засобів масової інформації на час виборів.

"Уперше за останні роки парламент не спромігся прийняти постанову про заборону перевірок ЗМІ під час виборів. Навіть за часів Януковича такого не було", - сказав Стець.

Він попросив Кабінет міністрів нести за невідкладною процедурою постанову про запровадження обмежень перевірок діяльності ЗМІ у період до завершення виборчого процесу.

Раніше Верховна Рада відмовилася проголосувати за заборону перевірок ЗМІ перед місцевими виборами, які відбудуться 25 жовтня.

Відповідну постанову спікер Володимир Гройсман намагався поставити на голосування у п'ятницю, 9 жовтня, зранку, однак сигнальне голосування показало, що у залі не вистачає голосів – кнопку не натискали навіть 200 депутатів.
