На технічній базі телеканалу БТБ можуть створити суспільне та іноземне мовлення.

Таку можливість наразі розглядає Міністерство інформаційної політики, заявив в ефірі "Шустер LIVE" міністр інформаційної політики Юрій Стець, інформуєЕспресо.TV. 

За його словами, фінансування БТБ припинять з 1 січня 2015 року.

"З 1 січня припиняється фінансування БТБ, оскільки це просто дурість - мати Національному банку України свій телеканал, який нікому не потрібен. Я вам скажу, що саме на цій технічній базі повинно створюватися якісне іномовлення", - сказав Стець.

Він наголосив, що протягом наступного року необхідно створити суспільне мовлення й на окупованих територіях.

Юрій Стець також повідомив про те, що зараз до прикордонних районів не доходить мовлення українських телеканалів і радіо. За його словами, Україна планує зробити карту покриття.
