Міністр інформаційної політики Юрій Стець переконував іноземні посольства та неурядові організації у необхідності допомоги його відомству, погрожуючи негативними наслідками російської пропаганди для них самих.

Про це він заявив під час звіту уряду про 100 днів своєї діяльності,повідомляє Українська правда

За його словами, він переконував ці організації у тому, що події в Україні почалися з інформаційної війни.

"Друзі, колеги, партнери з Європи і США. Якщо ви не допоможете нам боротися з російською пропагандою, все це чекає на вас", – розповів він про свої аргументи, додавши, що говорив "недипломатично".

За словами Стеця, через місяць після цього американці почали йому розповідати, що "техаські бабці" всерйоз вірять у те, що американські військові воюють в Україні, а німці – що на Адміністрації президента України висить прапор США.

Також він повідомив, що російські інформагенції розпочали мовлення у Польщі польською мовою.

"Розпочинається російська пропаганда на території Польщі, Прибалтики та інших країн Євросоюзу", – заявив міністр.

Врешті, за його словами, європейські лідери погодилася з необхідністю створення українського каналу іномовлення, який би розповідав правду про події на сході України, а також російськомовного каналу, який би міг боротися з російською пропагандою.

Стець запевнив, що американці і європейці підтримують діяльність його міністерства.

Також він висловив впевненість, що, якщо "таке одіозне намальоване чучело як Дмітрій Кісельов" звертає увагу на діяльність цього відомства, значить, воно рухається у правильному напрямку.

Наступного тижня, за його словами, відбудеться детальна презентація про діяльності міністерства.
