На хакатоні PennApps в Пенсільванському університеті (США) студенти створили незвичайний гаджет - шолом доповненої реальності Brand Killer (Вбивця брендів).
Його завдання - працювати на зразок браузерного розширення AdBlock Plus і прибирати рекламу - але з реального життя, пише "Новое время"
Девайс вміє розпізнавати картинки рекламного характеру, які потрапляючи на очі власника гаджету. Загалом, це логотипи. Завдяки цьому реклама "зникає" не тільки в онлайні, але й в повсякденному житті юзера.
Шолом був створений за 48 годин, через що він поки не відрізняється стильним дизайном і компактними габаритами. Його змайстрували зі зварювальних окулярів, web-камери та 7-дюймового екрану.
Тим часом, незважаючи на ймовірну затребуваність девайса, творці Brand Killer поки не мають наміру запускати його в серійне виробництво.
