Для боротьби з піратським контентом компанія Vobile від імені студії Warner Bros. періодично відправляє заявки в Google з вимогами виключити з пошуку посилання на піратські копії фільмів. В цьому році кіностудія активізував свої зусилля і надіслала понад чотири мільйони посилань на «імовірно піратський контент», пише Media Sapiens

Відповідно до закону про авторське право в цифрову епоху (DMCA), компанія Google видаляє з результатів пошуку посилання на піратський контент і для громадського контролю публічно звітує про всі запити на блокування.

Проте нещодавно у список на видалення з пошуку були додані посилання на офіційні сторінки фільмів «Темний лицар», «Матриця», «Щасливчик» на сайті warnerbros.com, а також сторінки продажу легальних копій в сервісі Amazon і Sky Cinema.
