Фракции "Свобода" и "Удар" выступают за проведение досрочных выборов Верховной Рады в 2014 году. Об этом представители фракций заявили на согласительном совете в парламенте, передает РБК-Украина.

Так, по словам представителя "Свободы" Алексея Кайды, его фракция предлагает ввести военное положение на Донбассе, в течение месяца урегулировать там ситуацию, внести изменения в избирательное законодательство, а затем в октябре 2014 г. провести выборы в парламент.

Он добавил, что выборы должны состояться на пропорциональной системе с открытыми списками.

В свою очередь, лидер фракции "Удар" Виталий Ковальчук заявил, что Рада должна принять постановление о досрочном прекращении своих полномочий.
