Дослідники проаналізували 5000 відеороликів, опублікованих в соціальній мережі Facebook й дійшли до висновку, що лише 1% з них стають вірусними, пише Media Sapiens.
 

Для аналізу були використані більше 5000 відео за період з березня по травень 2017 року. Отримані результати були порівняні з таким же аналізом за період грудень 2016 року - лютий 2017 року, цитує NiemanLab дослідження, проведене компанією Wochit.

Перш за все, Wochit підтвердила кореляцію між кількістю відео, опублікованих з певної сторінки, та збільшенням її охоплення й отриманих доходів від публікацій. Простіше кажучи, більше відео - більше грошей.

 

Також дослідники виявили, що користувачі радше використовують значки-емодзі для реакції на відео, аніж просто «лайки». Наприклад, перегляди, коментарі та перепости в середньому на 20-30 відсотків більше у відео, але при цьому вони збирають менше «лайків», ніж звичайні публікації.

Окрім того, охоплення квадратних відео на 136% більше, ніж у горизонтальних роликів. Дослідники пояснюють це популярністю мобільних пристроїв, на яких такий формат відео зручніше дивитися.

Компанія рахувала як вірусні ролики ті, які за період дослідження зібрали більше одного мільйона переглядів. Таких з усієї вибірки було лише 1,1%. Як виявилося, найбільше відео люблять переглядати та ділитися у Іспанії, Мексиці та США.
