Миллиардер-республиканец Дональд Трамп сравнил сторонников своей соперницы демократа Хиллари Клинтон с любителями "невкусного попкорна". Об этом он рассказал в интервью телеканалу Fox News, передает Сегодня.

"Хиллари Клинтон пытается копировать мой стиль поведения, но она "некомпетентна. К примеру, вы продолжаете жевать попкорн, несмотря на то, что он невкусный. Почему? Привычка. Также и с Клинтон", – считает Трамп.

Кандидат в президенты США также указал на "провал" в делах Клинтон.

"Посмотрите на ее дела, это провал. Весь мир "наелся" поступками Клинтон", – добавил он.

Отметим, Трамп заручился поддержкой достаточного количества делегатов будущего съезда Республиканской партии США для выдвижения его на президентскую номинацию от республиканцев. Накануне группа делегатов партийного съезда, которая ранее официально не поддерживала ни одного из кандидатов, заявила о намерении поддержать Трампа. Таким образом, количество делегатов, чьей поддержкой удалось заручиться Трампу, превысила 1237 – необходимую для выдвижения кандидатом на партийном съезде, который состоится в Кливленде в конце июля.

Ранее Дональд Трамп заявил, что уважает президента России Владимира Путина.
