Оказавшийся в центре громкого скандала в связи с грязными откровениями о неудавшейся попытке близости с женатой женщиной кандидат в президенты США Дональд Трамп заявил, что шансы на его уход из предвыборной борьбы равны нулю. Снять кандидатуру с выборов Трампа призвали ряд влиятельных сенаторов от Республиканской партии.  Об этом сообщает ABC News.

И если сразу же после публикации в The Washington Post видеозаписи с его вульгарными откровениями Трамп извинялся, вчера уже говорил, что "это жизнь и люди ее увидели". По его словам, имело место обычное общение, как у мужчин в раздевалке плавательного бассейна. "Билл Клинтон (муж Хиллари Клинтон) во время игры гольф рассказывал и кое-что похуже", - заявил Трамп.

Он также сказал, что "получил неимоверную поддержку, потому что Хиллари Клинтон крайне плохой кандидат".

Трамп даже вышел на улицу около Трамп-тауэр и стал призывать прохожих поддержать его.

Напомним, газета The Washington Post ранее опубликовала запись разговора Трампа и телеведущего Билли Буша, который состоялся в 2005 году. В ходе беседы Трамп заявил, что "если ты звезда, то можешь делать с женщинами все, что хочешь". Он добавил, что его "автоматически привлекают красивые женщины". Трамп также рассказал телеведущему о неудачной попытке соблазнить замужнюю женщину.

После этого ряд влиятельных сенаторов-республиканцев призвали Трампа снять свою кандидатуру с президентских выборов.
