Туреччина уперше з початку президентства Реджепа Таїпа Ердогана обирає парламент

Як повідомляє AFP, виборчі дільниці розпочали роботу зранку 7 червня і зачиняться о 17.00 за місцевим часом, передає Еспресо.TV.

Право голосу у країні мають близько 54 мільйонів громадян. Перші підсумки голосування очікуються ввечері 7 червня. 

За даними опитувань, лідируючою силою у країні лишається ісламсько-консервативна партія AKP правлячого президента Ердогана. Однак за прогнозами експертів, дана партія зазнає певних втрат голосів виборців.

У разі, якщо опозиційна курдська "Демократична партія народів" (HDP) подолає  бар'єр  у 10% та здобуте місця у парламенті, правляча AKP не одержить бажаних 60% із 330 місць у Великих національних зборах.

Така кількість мандатів потрібна для проведення конституційної реформи, яка має надати більше повноважень президентові країни.
