Телеканал HBO на сайті GOT Party (Game of Thrones Party, що пародіює неформальну назву Республіканської партії США GOP або Good Old Party) запустив голосування за одного з чотирьох кандидатів, які борються за Залізний трон в фентезійній сазі «Гра престолів», повідомляє Media Sapiens.

На даний момент лідером передвиборної гонки є Джон Сноу, який набрав 50%. За ним слідує Дейенеріс Таргаріен - 31%. На третьому місці розташувався Петіро Бейліш – 17%. І менше всього шансів на перемогу у Серсеї Ланістер – 2,2%. 

На сайті також наведена інформація про кожного з кандидатів та їхні передвиборчі гасла. Зокрема, Дейенеріс обіцяє звільнити рабів і об'єднати Эссос з Вестеросом, а Сноу підтримує право Вільного народу на землі за Стіною і права дітей, народжених поза шлюбом.

Таким чином HBO рекламує вихід шостого сезону «Гри престолів» на цифрових платформах. Канал також опублікував спеціальний відеоролик, який пропонує не залишатися в стороні від демократичного вибору.
