Компанії Apple і Google видалили зі своїх російських онлайн-магазинів мобільний додаток для доступу до соціальної мережі LinkedIn на вимогу російської влади.

Про це повідомляє New York Times.

Посилання на додаток недоступні в російських версіях магазинів додатків для операційних систем iOS і Android; Apple iTunes Store повідомляє користувачам, що програма доступна в американській версії магазину.

В Apple підтвердили, що близько місяця тому отримали запит на видалення програми з російського магазину.

У компанії Google підтверджувати видалення програми не стали, обмежившись фразою про необхідність дотримання законів країн, в яких корпорація працює.

Нагадаємо, що 17 листопада в Росії заблокували доступ до рекрутингової соціальної мережі LinkedIn.

LinkedIn внесена в реєстр порушників прав суб'єктів персональних даних і спрямована для блокування операторам зв'язку.
