Міжнародний паралімпійський комітет відкликав акредитацію білоруса, який під час  відкриття Паралімпійських ігор розгорнув прапор Росії.

Про це у своєму твіттері написав директор прес-служби МПК Крейг Спенс.

"МПК скасував акредитацію особи, яка пронесла російський прапор як частину білоруської делегації", – повідомив він.

У коментарях до цього твіту він додав, що ця людина є не спортсменом, а гостем генерального секретаря.

Як відомо, під час відкриття Паралімпіади один з членів білоруської збірної розгорнув прапор Росії. Міжнародний паралімпійський комітет вважає це політичною акцією, у зв'язку з чим проводить розслідування.

Президент Білорусі Олександр Лукашенко підтримав цей жест члена збірної.
