У порушення вимог Закону України "Про місцеві вибори" досі не встановлені результати голосування на виборах Дніпропетровського міського голови. До роботи виборчих комісій активно підключилися народні депутати України від партій "Блок Петра Порошенка "Солідарність", "Опозиційного блоку" та "Українського об'єднання патріотів – УКРОП", що негативно вплинуло на виборчий процес і призвело до силового протистояння. 30 жовтня Дніпропетровська міська виборча комісія розпочала прийом протоколів про підсумки голосування по виборах до міської ради та міського голови. Станом на 18 годину було прийнято протоколи від трьох районних ТВК. Найбільш проблемними були Бабушкінська і Ленінська районні у місті виборчі комісії. В Бабушкінській ТВК виявили розбіжності у протоколах про підрахунок голосів виборців на декількох дільницях, а Ленінська комісія створила юридичний казус прийнявши постанову про визнання всіх місцевих виборів недійсними в межах однієї з дільниць, та ще і датувала таку постанову 30 вересня.
Ближче до півночі, коли спливав законний п'ятиденний термін встановлення результатів голосування події в Бабушкінській і міській ТВК стали розгортатися блискавично. В районній ТВК члени комісії склали протокол про підсумки голосування і почали його підписувати. Натомість у міській виборчій комісії несподівано перейшли до розгляду подання про заміну голови Бабушкінської ТВК від партії "Блок Петра Порошенка "Солідарність". З другого разу подання задовольнили і голова Дніпропетровської міської виборчої комісії в супроводі ще 5 членів комісії повезли відповідну постанову до районної ТВК.
