У Франції ухвалили закон, який змушуватиме журнали повідомляти про застосування Photoshop при редагуванні фотографій моделей

Новий закон Франції установлює, що тепер всі моделі мають отримати медичну довідку. Лікар має підтверджувати, що модель здорова, інакше отримати роботу жінка не зможе. 

Журнали мають вказувати на фотографіях позначку "ретуш", якщо був використаний Photoshop.

Порушення закону може призвести до позбавлення волі строком до півроку і штрафу 75 тис євро. Новий закон викликав потужну хвилю протесту в модній індустрії. Адже тепер може з'явитися мінімально допустимий Індекс маси тіла для моделей. Поки ж лікарям залишили право самим вирішувати, наскільки модель худа і чи може вона справлятися зі своєю роботою. Будуть враховуватися кілька критеріїв, включаючи вік, стать і саму будову тіла.

В більш ранній версії документа передбачалося введення ув'язнення строком до року. І стосувалося це ресурсів, які пропагують хворобливу худорлявість і сприяють розвитку анорексії. Даний пункт викреслили з останньої редакції. Але у законотворців були всі підстави його включати, адже у Франції до 40 тис осіб страждають від анорексії.
