У центрі Києва на Софійській площі проходить акція на підтримку патрульної поліції.

Як повідомляють Українські Новини, участь у заході беруть близько 1000 людей, вони тримають в руках плакати з написами "захисти поліцію" і "Суддя, він охороняв спокій твоїй сім'ї".

Частина з присутніх прийшли підтримати Сергія Олійника, заарештованого на 2 місяці патрульного, який підозрюється у вбивстві 17-річного підлітка під час переслідування автомобіля BMW в ніч на 7 лютого у Києві.

 
 
 
 
 

Організатори акції роздають присутнім білі браслети з написом "захисти поліцію", за задумом організаторів, учасники акції мають передати ці браслети патрульним, яких вони зустрінуть на вулицях. 

Аналогічна акція проходить і у Львові.

Напередодні організатори закликали бажаючих вийти на підтримку поліції та зазначили, що "політичним силам на заході не місце". 

Як відомо, вночі 7 лютого київська патрульна поліція під час переслідування застрелила 17-річного хлопця, який у компанії трьох інших намагався втекти на BMW. 

Переслідування порушників, що їхали на великій швидкості, тривало більше 30 хв.

Поліцейські неодноразово попереджали через гучномовець про відкриття вогню, після чого обстріляли автомобіль.

У результаті обстрілів було пробите колесо авто, один з порушників отримав смертельне поранення.   

Трьох інших молодих хлопців затримали, вони перебували у нетверезому стані.
