"Верховний суд" анексованого Криму визнав меджліс кримськотатарського народу екстремістською організацією і заборонив його діяльність у Росії.

Таким чином суд задовольнив позов так званого прокурора Криму Наталії Поклонської, яка в середині квітня винесла рішення про призупинення діяльності меджлісу, сообщает ВВС

За кілька днів після цього міністерство юстиції Росії внесло меджліс до переліку організацій, закритих за екстремістську діяльність.

На засіданні суду у вівторок пані Поклонська заявила, що меджліс не є самостійною організацією, а його членів і керівників назвала "маріонетками в руках великих західних ляльководів".

Заступник голови меджлісу Наріман Джеляль своєю чергою зазначив, що організація є міжнародною і не може бути заборонена в Росії.

Рішення можна оскаржити упродовж місяця.

Рішення фактичної влади Криму про припинення діяльності меджлісу викликало невдоволення Євросоюзу, який заявив про утиск прав кримських татар.
